We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the overall operations of our hotel and resort property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven record of delivering world-class guest experiences. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across all departments, maintaining high service standards, maximizing profitability, and fostering a culture of excellence among staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel and resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, spa/recreation, and guest services.
  • Manage daily property activities by supervising department heads and ensuring seamless coordination between teams.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and safety requirements throughout the property.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control initiatives to drive profitability.
  • Lead hiring, training, and professional development efforts for all departments, ensuring a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of hospitality, service, and satisfaction.
  • Monitor guest feedback and respond promptly to resolve concerns, ensuring positive relationships with guests.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency, enhance amenities, and maximize guest loyalty.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance evaluations, and provide continuous guidance and support to department leaders.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture built on teamwork, accountability, and guest-centric service.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role within a hotel, resort, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong background in managing multiple departments, including food & beverage, rooms division, and guest services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, revenue generation, and cost optimization.
  • Extensive supervisory experience with the ability to inspire, lead, and develop diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Working knowledge of property management systems (PMS), revenue management software, and hospitality technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of hospitality service standards, safety regulations, and brand compliance requirements.
