Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile carpenter with a minimum of 3 years hands on experience. This role requires a strong background in construction. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics, and possess hands-on experience with a wide range of tools and techniques. This position is essential for ensuring the successful completion of projects that require attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Duties

  • Measure, cut, assemble and join materials of wood, aluminum and other materials.
  • Cut, fit and install trim items: doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
  • Repair/renovate residences and wooden structures.
  • Interpret sketches, blueprints and drawings of the construction house.
  • Drywall and Seam filling
  • Conduct assembly work for different components as per project specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Handle heavy lifting as necessary during the execution of duties.

Experience

  • Proven experience in construction or maintenance person roles is essential.
  • Strong skills in carpentry, woodworking, flooring installation, and roofing
  • Familiarity with construction estimating processes will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Experience in restoration and remediation projects is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
