Commercial Glass Estimator – Corner Brook, NL

Are you a detail-oriented estimator with a passion for commercial glazing systems? We're looking for a skilled Commercial Glass Estimator to join our team and help deliver accurate, competitive bids for a variety of commercial projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Review architectural and structural drawings to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs for glass, aluminum framing, hardware, sealants, and related materials.
  • Obtain and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure accurate cost comparisons.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids in a timely manner.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options in the bidding process.
  • Maintain budgetary awareness and assist with project hand-off once bids are awarded.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of industry technology and continuously improve processes.

Who You Are:

  • Strong understanding of glazing systems, curtain walls, cladding, and aluminum fabrication.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software an asset.
  • 3+ years of estimating experience in glass, glazing, or construction.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
