Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated CNC Machinist with more than 5 years of CNC Milling experience to join our production team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with hands-on CNC experience and a desire to expand their skills in a supportive environment with career growth potential.

Responsibilities

  • Set-Up and Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Prepare and setup fixtures.
  • Load and run programs, modify if necessary.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Deburr and clean parts as required to meet quality standards.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven CNC Milling Set-Up experience.
  • Knowledge of machining practices, blueprints, and measuring tools.
  • Knowledge of G-codes.
  • Experience with Fanuc Controls is an asset.
  • Experience Setting up 5-axis machines with pallet system is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative, and willingness to learn.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
