About Castlemain
At Castlemain, we help people understand, access, and engage with class action settlements and community programs. Our work begins with claimants, ensuring they are supported with trauma-informed, culturally grounded communications and backed by expert project management and community-focused care.
Whether we're delivering national noticing campaigns, providing direct claimant support, or partnering on community program building, we work with law firms, governments, Indigenous organizations, and administrators on national programs that ensure results.
Communication and community support is about more than sharing information — it's about supporting well-being, healing, and connection. That's why our programs are designed to respect the dignity of community members and support the wellness of everyone involved.
With more than 200 team members, many of whom are Indigenous, we deliver services in English, French, and several Indigenous languages across the country, ensuring people are heard, respected, and supported.
Program Context
This role is foundational within Castlemain's internal Wellness Strategy and contributes to the well-being of team members working across complex, sensitive, and trauma-informed environments.
The Senior Wellness Specialist acts as a cultural, emotional, and strategic leader in shaping Castlemain's approach to Indigenous-centered wellness and organizational resilience. This includes strengthening trauma-informed practices, upholding Indigenous ways of knowing and being, supporting Claims Helpers and program teams, and collaborating with Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and wellness leaders across the organization.
The position plays a significant role in both immediate staff support and long-term program development as Castlemain continues to grow and evolve its organizational wellness framework.
About the Role
The Senior Wellness Specialist plays a leadership role in advancing the holistic well-being of team members by integrating culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices into organizational wellness strategies. The Senior Wellness Specialist provides mentorship and guidance to other wellness staff, co-develops high-level wellness programs, evaluates their effectiveness, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing. This role serves as a bridge between leadership, team members, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and community resources to foster a strong culture of wellness and resilience.
