Hotel Metro, London's premium boutique experience, is seeking to add a Part Time Housekeeper We are seeking dependable housekeeping staff to perform all standard and customized cleaning tasks.

As a Room Attendant, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas within our hotel. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, your core skills in cleaning and hospitality will ensure a welcoming environment for our guests. Experience in hotel settings, along with premium skills in attention to detail and time management, will enhance the guest experience. Additionally, relevant skills in industrial cleaning and custodial work will support our commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

We offer a set schedule, the Part-Time days we are looking to fill would be during Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

Prior housekeeping and professional cleaning experience is an asset.

Qualities that are Important to the Position:

  • The position requires much attention to detail with a level of conscientiousness about the work.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Replace linens and towels, ensuring all items meet hotel standards.
  • Report maintenance issues and restock supplies as needed.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols while performing custodial duties.
  • Must be focused: diligent to carry out all cleaning requirements.
  • A willingness to receive, learn and follow instruction.
  • Organized and good multitasking abilities.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable to fulfill scheduled shifts.
  • Able to work equally; independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible with working weekends and holidays, we are a hotel and do not close.
  • The nature of this position requires a clear police information check.
