Medical Imaging at RVH offers an expansive range of Radiography imaging programs including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Breast Imaging and Interventional Radiology. As the hub of our region, we provide a high level of complex imaging across all modalities including high risk OBSP, advanced cardiac and acute stroke CT imaging, life changing embolization and thrombolysis interventional procedures, and cutting-edge treatments such as Trans arterial Radioembolization. Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program.
- Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
- Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.
- Experience or willingness to train in CT an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Perform all required General Radiography examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures.
- Maintain strong team environment amongst fellow Medical Radiation Technologists, nursing team, radiologists and interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrate clinical competency in all aspects of General Radiography and minor special procedures.
- Deliver high quality, safe and compassionate patient care.
- Work with and participate in evaluation of students from affiliated education programs as needed.
