We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team, primarily to assist with our youth (12 to 24) and gender based violence initiatives.

The Program Facilitator will be responsible for increasing community capacity to incorporate restorative practices and responses, primarily with youth-based agencies, schools and crime prevention programming within the Peace Regional, Fairview, McLennan and Manning RCMP detachment zones.

Responsibilities include:

  • Community outreach, collaboration, capacity building and event engagement.
  • Facilitation of RJ curriculum, workshops, and ongoing development of materials and resources.
  • Case management of RJ referrals from the RCMP, victim services, courts, schools, and community.
  • Accurate and timely case record keeping, data management and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of RJ principles and philosophy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple parties, including referral agencies.
  • Experience in facilitation, working with both adults and youth (aged 12 to 24) in individual and group environments, including school/educational settings.
  • Must demonstrate capability and experience working with people impacted by family violence, harm and/or trauma and have working knowledge of what it means to provide victim-led services.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work cohesively in a small team, co-located with Stepping Up: North Peace Society for the Prevention of Domestic Violence.
  • Excellent conflict management, communication and listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and Canva.

Terms: Full-time or Part-time (up to 30 hrs/week). January 2026 to February 2027, with the possibility of extension. Some travel and evening/weekend work is required. Position offer is subject to satisfactory completion of references and criminal/vulnerable sector checks. RCMP or other security clearance may be required.
