Role - Network Administrator

Location - calgary, AB Hybrid

Job Description: Experience 8 Years of experience in BMC Code Pipeline Administration and configuration of BMC AMI DevX code pipeline, defining security roles , updating tables, and troubleshooting system and user issues within the change life cycle. Key responsibilities involve product configuration, effective administration of ISPW, using maintenance functions, and under-standing how to troubleshoot problems related to mainframe code building, testing, and deploy-ment. Key Responsibilities Product Configuration Configure and maintain the various components of BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline, including updating product configuration tables and defining se-curity settings. Maintenance Functions Utilize and manage the products maintenance functions, which involve updating tables that contain site-specific setup information. Security Administration Manage user access and permissions within the product by creating, customizing, and defining se-curity roles for different users. Troubleshooting Identify and resolve issues related to the products functionality, ensuring that the code change, build, and deployment processes run smoothly for developers. System Monitoring Monitor the entire Code Pipeline system to ensure all system transactions are processed correctly and that the various components (CI tasks, Master Server, Remote Servers) are functioning as expected. User Support Provide support to developers and other users, helping them navigate the ISPF and Topaz Workbench interfaces and resolve problems they encounter. Skills and Knowledge Required BMC AMI DevX Code Pipeline (ISPW) Expertise In-depth knowledge of the ISPW tools features, including its ISPF and Topaz Workbench interfaces, change management processes, and repository management. Mainframe Environment Strong un-derstanding of zOS, mainframe environments, JCL, and REXX, as Code Pipeline operates in this domain.DevOps and CICD Familiarity with CICD principles and how Code Pipeline facilitates auto-mated build, test, and deploy processes .Security Concepts Ability to define and manage security settings and roles to control product access.
