Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary projects across design, engineering, and consulting disciplines. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, technical excellence, and budgetary control.

This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and can effectively balance strategic oversight with hands-on project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering or consulting projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure successful outcomes for clients and the organization.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high satisfaction.
  • Oversee project teams, providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior staff.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, design, and technical teams.
  • Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and progress updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to Arup's project management standards, sustainability goals, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support business development initiatives, including bid preparation, proposal writing, and client presentations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management credential (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong financial and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience working in a consultancy or multidisciplinary environment is an asset.
