Job description

Maple Leaf Disposal is the fastest growing waste company based in Langley, BC. We are currently hiring for a position of Portable Toilet Service Driver to join our team This position requires customer service, organizational and time management skills, and ability to work in varied customer work environments.

Responsibilities:

· Perform daily pre-and post trips on operating equipment.

· Operate a pumper truck with RV style tanks in a safe and efficient manner.

· Meet daily deliveries objectives as directed by dispatch/supervisor.

· Follow routes assignments and make sound decision on prioritizing tasks.

· Ensure highest quality of service to all customers.

· Safely operate company's vehicles with a professional attitude, obey posted speed limits while following all WorkSafeBC, CVSE, and Maple Leaf Disposal safety procedures.

· Maintain a respectful attitude in communication with dispatch/supervisor, customers and coworkers via radio, and telephone

· Maintain all required PPE and ensure sanitary handling of equipment, hoses, and chemicals

· Pump, clean, sanitize, and restock portable toilets according to company standards

· Meet daily service targets while maintaining high quality and accuracy

· Complete assigned routes efficiently while adapting to changing conditions.

· Always Represent Maple Leaf Disposal positively and professionally.

· Ensure all units are properly re-positioned, secured, and left in a clean, safe condition

· Identify and report damaged units, vandalism, tipping hazards, or unsafe site conditions.

· Refill chemicals, deodorizer, sanitizer, and supplies as per route instructions.

Skills and Qualifications

· Clean class 5 drivers license (Provide Abstract)

· Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions

· Good customer service with a friendly, respectful approach.

· Positive team player, able to take initiative when needed.

· Punctual and competent.

· Good communication and attentive to details via radio, and telephone.

· Ability to keep calm and think quick under pressure.

· Physically fit for manual labor.

· Knowledge of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley (Preferred)

· Reliable Transportation to/from work site (Langley, BC)

· Must be able to work overtime when needed.

· Previous experience in waste, sanitation, construction support, or related industries.

· Familiarity with route-based work or similar field-service roles.

· Effective problem-solving skills.
