Sales Associate at Knyota Drinks (Ottawa, Canada)

THE ROLE

Do you want to be part of an inspirational retail experience for beverage enthusiasts of all ages? Sales Associates are the face of Knyota Drinks. You will be an important part of our customers' visits and a key player in promoting inclusive beverage experiences in an interactive and vibrant store environment. We are looking for an energetic, professional, and self-starter individual to join us on a part-time basis.

This specialized Sales Associate role includes a focus on Inventory & Merchandising Coordination, ideal for someone who enjoys organization, data, and product curation. You'll help ensure our shelves are stocked, our online store is up to date, and our supplier relationships are strong.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer-Facing Duties:

  • Perform all cashier and customer sales duties;
  • Delight customers by learning and demonstrating product knowledge in interactions;
  • Deliver personalized experiences for customers by greeting them, answering questions, and performing all transactions in a friendly and professional manner;
  • Maintain a clean, safe and visually appealing environment by performing cleaning duties and maintaining store displays.

Inventory & Merchandising Coordination:

  • Track stock levels and reorder low inventory;
  • Organize shelf displays and optimize product placement;
  • Liaise with suppliers for reordering and product inquiries;
  • Conduct inventory counts and analyze stock movement;
  • Forecast stock needs based on sales trends;
  • Research and recommend new products for the store;
  • Upload and update product listings on the online store;
  • Collect and record invoices for inventory tracking.

QUALIFICATIONS

Screening Criteria

  • Confident and comfortable being on camera;
  • Ability to lift potentially heavy products;
  • Strength in communication and technology;
  • Passion for the beverage industry, especially non-alcoholic;
  • Live in Ottawa and have legal authorization to work in Canada;
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills;
  • Experience providing exceptional customer experience in a service environment;
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying shifts (including weekends and holidays);
  • A solution-oriented mindset with ability to think quickly on your feet and work accurately.

Assets

  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English);
  • Experience with inventory systems or e-commerce platforms;
  • Interest in supply chain, merchandising, or retail analytics.
