About the opportunity:

In this role, you will operate and perform minor servicing on a variety of heavy construction and maintenance equipment including the grader. You will work under general supervision and are expected to use sound judgment and strong technical skills to operate equipment safely and efficiently. While much of your work will be independent, you may also join a crew and work under closer supervision when required. Your performance will be evaluated on safety, efficiency, and overall achievement of project goals. This You may also perform related duties as assigned. This role follows a Monday to Friday day/night rotation. Permanent (seasonal) winter positions are subject to seasonal layoffs and recalled annually.

About your background:

You hold a valid, unrestricted B.C. driver's license - Class 3 or Class 1 with Air Endorsement (or an equivalent out-of-province license) - and can provide a driver's abstract that reflects a consistent record of safe, responsible driving. You bring at least one year of experience operating heavy construction and maintenance equipment at the Equipment Operator 4 level or equivalent, along with the skill and confidence to operate a road grader safely, efficiently, and with a high level of independence. Please include a current driver's abstract to support your qualifications.
