Part Time Medical Office Administrator

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada BURRARD PHYSIOTHERAPY Full time US$36,000 - US$40,000 per year

We are looking for a part time medical receptionist for a busy Downtown physiotherapy clinic. Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, but will train suitable candidate.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns
  • Scheduling appointments and collect payments
  • Verifying insurance and billing third parties
  • Process incoming and outgoing email, mail and faxes
  • Start of day and end of day procedures
  • Basic cleaning and laundry

Preferential qualifications:

  • Familiar with MSP, ICBC and WSBC billing, and a working knowledge of Jane app would be an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
  • High degree of organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using computers
  • Team player
  • Flexible hours

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
