Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, backhoes, and excavators to complete construction tasks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and ensure that projects are completed on time.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to minimize risks and maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in the transportation of equipment as needed, utilizing commercial driving skills when required.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.
- Familiarity with construction processes and safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong communication skills.
