We seek an innovative, customer-focused leader to lead the Data platform and AI insights product area at Pebl. Currently, customers use our platform to manage their global employee payroll and benefits. That's just a start and we have ambitious goals and plans.
As Lead Product Manager, you will shape a data platform that will drive AI-powered solutions to transform customer engagement and propel our phase of growth. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, GTM teams, and the executive leadership to build a modern Data platform with AI capabilities that will accelerate growth and lead to market leadership. As Product Leader, you will be responsible for creating the vision and strategy, managing the roadmap, and building on the product backlog, working with cross-functional teams to develop exceptional data and analytics products for our customers.
This position is based in our Palo Alto office with in-office attendance required Monday through Wednesday. You will report to the VP Product.
How You'll Make An Impact:- Strategy: Work with cross functional teams to develop vision and strategy for the Data platform, data quality and governance to accomplish effective outcomes across all functions at Velocity Global.
- Ownership: Align with strategy for multiple teams and create and drive a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives to achieve core elements of the data strategy.
- Definition: Clearly articulate the business problems pertaining to data, gather evidence from users and outside sources, clarify the potential solutions with assumptions, guiding principles, strategic connections.
- Roadmap: Define the roadmap with deep understanding of the underlying data architecture, and drive prioritization of functional & non-functional requirements
- Delivery: Create user stories, and partner with data and product engineering teams to manage product backlog and execution through scrum teams.
- Communication: Serve as primary evangelist of data platform and capabilities with customers, internal executive stakeholders. Participate in industry events, customer briefings, analyst briefings, and advisory boards.
- Outcomes: Drive outcomes aligned with business teams and AI&D OKRs and report key metrics driving product effectiveness, utilization and satisfaction.
Minimum requirements
- 12+ years of Product Management experience
- Computer Science background or equivalent technical experience
- Passion for and experience building data platforms and AI agents
- Deep understanding of RAG, and unstructured data processing
- Experience of leading initiatives across engineering and cross functional teams, to influence roadmap planning and execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, structuring ambiguous concepts clearly and from first principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- You have a few years experience in a startup, either in fintech or HR tech
- You have taken a product from 0-1 or founded a startup
- You are very hands-on, and you personally test product/features before releasing and edit FAQ/documentation
- You have hands on experience with Snowflake Cortex, in running complex SQL queries, and in building AI agents
