We are currently recruiting for a Lead Hand to join our Landscape Construction division.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction of various residential landscape projects including retaining wall systems, decks, fences, patios, pools and stonework projects
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of various landscaping equipment: excavator, stone saws, chain saws, destumper, chipper, vibro plate, drills, and various hand tools
  • Assisting with finishing projects including sodding, planting and other enhancement work
  • Promote safety, wear appropriate PPE and demonstrate hazard awareness at all times

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with landscaping and/ or construction
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to lift 15 – 30 kg, as well as to perform physically-demanding tasks
  • Valid G license an asset
