Job Description

Want to discover the dynamic environment of postal operations that only Canada Post can offer? Join our team and play a vital role in our mailroom. As a full-time permanent postal clerk, you will be joining a historic and prestigious organization.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will: 

  • Receive and accept mail items
  • Sort, scan and sequence and batch mail items
  • Transfer and load a postal truck
  • Transfer and dispatch parcels and packets
  • Complete reports and documentation

  • Lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50lbs)
  • Perform other postal clerk duties as required 
Qualifications


• No Experience necessary

• Experience working in a production environment is an asset

Other Information

You will be required to pass pre-employment tests and an interview.

CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE: 

• A character reference letter
