We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics & Distribution Manager to oversee the daily execution of our end-to-end logistics operations across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Logistics & Distribution, this role is responsible for overseeing internal logistics staff, managing 3PL partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence across e-commerce, retail and B2B distribution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing tactical execution with strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth, cost-efficient, and compliant operations.

What You'll Be Working On:

Logistics Operations & Team Management – 40%

  • Lead and manage the logistics and distribution team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management
  • Manage relationships and performance with 3PL partners, couriers, and carriers, covering last-mile parcel delivery, retail replenishment, and B2B distribution
  • Optimize transportation strategies and mode selection (parcel, LTL, FTL, air, ocean) to balance cost, speed, and service and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure warehouse and fulfillment activities (executed through 3PLs) meet SLAs, accuracy, and cost targets

E-Commerce, Retail & B2B Fulfillment – 25%

  • Manage fulfillment operations across e-commerce and B2B channels to meet customer expectations and delivery SLAs
  • Coordinate inventory availability across all platforms and regions in collaboration with internal teams and 3PLs
  • Oversee logistics system integrations and data flows across all platforms to ensure accuracy, visibility, and seamless operations

Customs, Trade & Compliance – 20%

  • Ensure all shipments comply with Canadian, US, and UK customs and trade regulations
  • Oversee import/export documentation and coordination with customs brokers and freight forwarders
  • Maintain current knowledge of international trade laws, tariffs, and compliance requirements
  • Support with compliance reporting and process documentation

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement – 15%

  • Act as the key liaison between logistics and other departments, including sales, marketing, finance, product, and customer service
  • Collaborate with finance on freight budgeting, invoice reconciliation, and cost analysis
  • Partner with customer service to resolve fulfillment or shipping issues and enhance customer satisfaction

Operational Leadership & Business Acumen

Demonstrates strong capability in leading multi-market logistics operations and end-to-end distribution across e-commerce, B2B, and retail channels.

Partner, Network & Compliance Management

Ability to manage high-trust relationships with 3PLs, couriers, carriers, and transportation partners to ensure service quality and operational alignment while maintaining strong global trade compliance across all fulfillment channels.

Execution Excellence & Operational Rigor

Ability to apply structured problem-solving and disciplined planning to maintain high service levels and uphold operational standards in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Additional Requirements:

  • College or university education in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management (e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent tools
  • Experience using ERP, WMS, TMS, or other logistics management platforms
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven aptitude to learn and utilize latest technology and AI in day-to-day operations
