Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and presentation meet our high standards.
- Support the kitchen team by leading by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Help manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
- Monitor food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to execute menu items and special promotions effectively.
- Assist in analyzing kitchen performance metrics and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and guest satisfaction.
What You Bring to the Table
- Kitchen Leader: 1-2+ years of proven experience in a kitchen leadership role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
- Culinary Skills: A solid understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety standards.
- Team Player Attitude: Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for maintaining quality in food preparation and presentation.
