Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Evening (4 pm to Midnight) Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves providing high-quality carpet and floor care services to commercial clients who require the work to be done after office hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, an excellent work ethic, and a passion for maintaining clean, healthy environments. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in environmental services and commercial cleaning while contributing to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Operate carpet cleaning equipment and other floor care tools efficiently and safely
  • Perform deep cleaning of carpets, rugs, and upholstery using environmentally friendly solutions
  • Conduct buffing, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring surfaces
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks meet company standards for quality and safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies
  • Follow established safety protocols and environmental guidelines during all cleaning procedures
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service

Skills

  • Experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing
  • Proficiency in carpet cleaning methods and equipment operation
  • Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
