Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Laborer to support our manufacturing and facilities maintenance operations. This role involves hands-on work across various tasks, requiring mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and the ability to operate and interpret schematics. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Duties

  • Assist with manufacturing processes, including equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Perform facilities maintenance tasks such as repairs, cleaning, and preventative upkeep
  • Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders and documentation
  • Conduct welding and electrical work as needed to support production and maintenance activities
  • Read and interpret schematics for electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic systems
  • Supervise or lead small teams during shift operations to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client needs promptly
  • Support leadership in training new team members and maintaining safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance roles
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in welding, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is preferred
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or general maintenance tasks required
  • Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read technical documents and schematics
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams effectively
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and customer service principles
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
