Position OverviewTire Changers is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our team of mobile Service Technicians and drive our operational excellence. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role that blends field operations, team leadership, and strategic business development. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with an understanding of the automotive industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Strategy:

• Participate in the development and execution of strategic business plans to fuel company growth.
• Identify new market opportunities and areas for business expansion.
• Analyze budgets and operational expenses to improve profitability.
• Develop and implement new policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team and operational success.

Communications & Marketing:

• Oversee and develop content for customer email campaigns and special promotions.
• Contribute to marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and foster customer loyalty.
• Respond promptly and strategically to any internal or external communication challenges.

Operations & Team Management:

• Lead, manage , and supervise a team of approximately 30 temporary Service Technicians.
• Oversee the full cycle of team management, including conducting interviews, onboarding, and training new hires.
• Supervise field work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure all services meet our high-quality standards.
• Manage tool procurement, inventory, and maintenance.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for resolving complex customer issues with empathy and efficiency.
• Perform diagnostic procedures to accurately identify automotive issues and recommend solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Exceptional detail-orientation with a commitment to accuracy and quality customer service.
• Strong ability to remain calm, think clearly, and make decisions under pressure.
• Must reside within the city of Ottawa and possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design (e.g., logos, brochures, promotional materials).
• Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in coordinating and sharing periodic financial reports.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually
