As a
Senior Quality Control Lead Hand
, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet company and regulatory standards. You'll oversee daily quality control activities, support production teams, and maintain strong food safety programs. This role is ideal for an experienced quality control professional who enjoys being on the floor — approximately
95% of the shift will be spent in production
— leading by example and ensuring standards are met at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with
    HACCP
    ,
    GMP
    , and internal quality programs.
  • Conduct product inspections and quality checks throughout the production process.
  • Support and guide production staff on quality and food safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to quality and safety.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to maintain consistency and quality in all operations.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a
    Quality Control or Quality Assurance
    role within food manufacturing (bakery experience an asset).
  • Strong knowledge of
    HACCP
    ,
    GMP
    , and food safety systems.
  • Experience with audits, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Comfortable spending the majority of the shift on the production floor.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts if required.
