Personal Support Workers Needed

Kitchener, Ontario, Canada Nu-Age Health Care Full time $35,000 - $60,000 per year

Since starting in 1994, we at Nu-Age Health Care have prided ourselves in providing good quality care and dependable nursing services. We are currently seeking a motived and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. Someone who speaks ( Mandarin ), for a home care client, who's main language is Mandarin in the Kitchener area.

As a team member we will except the following responsibilities

  • Ensuring the fulfillment of individual goals and needs as instructed in the client's support plans
  • Helping resident with leisure activities
  • Ensuring the health, safety, welfare, and independence of resident
  • Assisting and satisfying the social and emotional needs of a resident
  • Documenting and recording daily care reports.
  • Adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations set by the province or territory
  • Strong organizational skills while being able to maintain high standards under pressure
  • Ability to adapt to change and remain flexible
  • Accustomed to working with and understanding the needs of various types of patients
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well as an independent collaborator and as a team
  • Ability to comply with standard policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
  • Ability to use computer programs to keep accurate records and documentation
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Must have all documents current including, Personal Support worker diploma, CPR, vulnerable sector check ,GPA certificate , N95 mask fit, immunizations , TB, covid-19 vaccinations, CPR .
  • We also will require 2 references , and a Photo ID .
