Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Immigration Assistant to join our growing team.

This is a full-time remote position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting others, and has a keen interest in immigration processes.

The Immigration Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our consultants with case management, documentation, client communication, and administrative coordination. You'll be the organized backbone that helps ensure every client file is complete, compliant, and on track — contributing directly to the client's success and the firm's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support RCICs in preparing, organizing, and reviewing immigration applications and supporting documents.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, forms, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate client records and update case management systems promptly.
  • Track application deadlines, client follow-ups, and case progress to ensure timely submissions.
  • Conduct basic research on immigration programs, requirements, and policy updates.
  • Assist in drafting correspondence and templates for client communication.
  • Coordinate consultations, appointments, and follow-ups.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in all client interactions.
  • Support the broader team in administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Post-secondary education (preferably in law, administration, or immigration studies).
  • 1–2 years of administrative experience (immigration, legal, or customer service experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Canadian immigration programs and procedures is an asset.
  • A positive, proactive, and client-centered attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
