RO Tech Solutions is growing and we are currently seeking the right Security Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for security systems and are hard working, we'd like to hear from you.

Duties:

  • Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.

  • Install equipment, program and calibrate equipment

  • Run wires through ceilings & drywall

  • Troubleshoot systems, resolve issues for customers and end users

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Verify systems are functioning properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals, and identifying and correcting problems.

Requirements:

  • minimum 2 year alarm technician experience required

  • minimum 2 year CCTV/ access control

  • Proficient in working with power tools and possess mechanical knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring

  • Strong understanding of CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems

  • Strong knowledge of computer skills

  • Must be able to work alone or with a team

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Fluent in English with excellent listening skills, verbal and written communication skills including complete and accurate paperwork

  • Proven time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, work effectively on multiple tasks, and contribute to improvements in a collaborative work environment

  • Able to work on a ladder

  • Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Eligible to work in Canada

  • Highschool diploma

  • Security license required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
