Portage la Prairie MB Canada Canad Inns Full time $30,000 - $50,000 per year


We are currently seeking passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Seeking to understand the guest, and meet and exceed the needs of both the guest and the company.
  • Ensure that work is accurate, thorough, and to the highest standards.
  • Demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and follow through to get the required results.
  • Constantly assess and adapt current practices to perform a task better, faster, or more efficiently.
  • Clean and maintain the work area throughout the shift
  • Communicate all pertinent information to culinary staff
  • Distribute the menus to proper personnel

  • Garnish each dish to look as visually appealing

  • Inspect each plate and sign off for appearance and correctness.

  • Prepare plates according to guest desires and Canad Inns
  • Value and remain open to new ideas and perspectives.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of line cooking experience preferred
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings is required
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
