POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant will provide for the comfort of guests by ensuring that the cabins and public areas are clean to a high standard and presented in a professional manner.
We seek candidates with a great attitude and lots of energy Ocean Village is open year round, and we give preference to candidates who are able to commit to 8-12 months.
Hours range from 30 to 40 hours per week depending on the demands of the resort.
Compensation includes bonus upon contract completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Clean and sanitize cabins. Some duties include (but are not limited too): Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, making beds, cleaning windows and washing dishes)
-Work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
-Work diligently and independently.
-Manage your time efficiently to ensure all assigned cabins are clean by check-in time.
-Maintain a positive and organized working environment.
-Perform other job-related duties and special projects assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Ability to work well unsupervised, at a fast pace while maintaining quality standards
-Ability to work well with others as a part of a team
-Ability to maintain a high level of work ethic and attention to detail
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
-Highly responsible and reliable
