Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Snow Loader Operator to join our professional snow removal team for the upcoming winter season. As a key member of our operations crew, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently clearing commercial and residential properties using our new Komatsu W200 loaders, equipped with advanced attachments and productivity tools.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in operating heavy equipment, works well under pressure during winter storms, and values working with a modern, organized snow operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Komatsu W200 loader to clear snow from parking lots, roadways, laneways, and other designated areas.
  • Follow assigned property routes using our electronic logging and routing system, ensuring timely and accurate completion of each site.
  • Maintain constant awareness of surroundings to ensure safety of crew members, pedestrians, vehicles, and property.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any maintenance needs or mechanical concerns promptly.
  • Assist with site clean-ups, and support tasks as required by the supervisor.
  • Work flexible and on-call hours, including overnight shifts, depending on storm timing.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating loaders or heavy machinery (Wheeled loader experience preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to staging locations.
  • Ability to work long hours during snow events in challenging weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Capable of using mobile apps for logging, routing, and communication (training provided).
