Duties

  • Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products to various locations according to scheduled routes
  • Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines
  • Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns during deliveries
  • Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, stock organization, and manual lifting of heavy items
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong focus on route driving and customer service excellence
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required
  • Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or pallets regularly
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills for load & unload procedures and route planning
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
