Job Overview

Turtle Jacks Oakville is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat customers promptly, providing menus and taking drink orders
  • Present food and beverage options, answering any questions regarding menu items
  • Take accurate food orders and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring satisfaction with each order
  • Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing assistance as needed
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately at the end of each meal
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling and preparation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals

Requirements

  • 2 years serving experience REQUIRED, with a focus on customer service skills
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the food service industry
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (REQUIRED)
