Operations & Content Assistant (children's clothing brand)

Port Coquitlam, BC (near Costco)

Starting at $22/hour + 1% commission on all sales processed through the company's account

Part-time 10:00 am - 2:00 pm MON-FRI

We're a growing children's clothing brand based in Vancouver, focused on organic, sustainable apparel for outdoorsy families. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented hands-on Operations & Content Assistant to help with daily e-commerce, fulfillment, and creative tasks.

In this role, you'll handle everything from packing and shipping orders, updating Shopify listings, and tracking inventory, to filming Instagram Reels and supporting photoshoots. You'll also communicate with vendors, customers, and wholesale partners, help with bookkeeping, and support seasonal campaigns.

What You'll Do

  • Track and manage inventory in Shopify
  • Prepare packing lists and process retail & wholesale orders
  • Pack and ship orders accurately and efficiently
  • Update product info on Shopify (SKUs, images, descriptions, pricing)
  • Assist with bookkeeping and issuing invoices
  • Respond to customer inquiries and help coordinate returns or exchanges
  • Support with wholesale account updates and communication
  • Manage vendor communications — coordinating orders, lead times, and shipments
  • Assist with promotions, sales campaigns, and holiday/event preparation (setups, inventory prep)
  • Analyze sales and inventory data to identify trends, slow movers, or stockouts
  • Assist in product launches — coordinating content, inventory, and marketing timing
  • Help maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and document workflows
  • Coordinate with 3PL/courier services to track shipments and resolve delivery issues
  • Assist with quality control and inspection of inbound stock
  • Support marketing and social media efforts (planning content, preparing email assets)
  • Film and post 1 Instagram Reel per day (or assist in content creation)
  • Help prep and assist during photoshoots and product launches
  • Maintain a tidy, organized warehouse/studio space
  • Assist with planning and executing seasonal campaigns and new product drops
  • Collaborate directly with the founder on new ideas, marketing, and product feedback

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
