Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes. Your primary responsibilities will include printing manifests for loads, ensuring seals are correctly placed, and reviewing Manifest Discrepancy Reports for accuracy. You will also work extensively with our Driver app, coordinating with approximately 200 drivers daily to monitor their progress, resolve PO issues, and manage load allocations. Additionally, you will handle vendor-related phone call issues, manage documentation for equipment exchange, and learn to complete drivers' day records in the system for enhanced exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Print manifests for loads and ensure seals are correctly placed.
  • Review Manifest Discrepancy Reports for accuracy.
  • Work extensively with the Driver app, managing approximately 200 drivers daily.
  • Monitor driver progress, PO issues, and load allocations through the app.
  • Handle phone call issues related to vendors, flat tires, and truck breakdowns.
  • Document equipment exchange for incoming and outgoing trailers.
  • Learn and assist in completing drivers' day records in the system.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in logistics, data entry, and transportation management.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Docs.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain, shipping and receiving, and dispatch.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work at a warehousing/distribution center on a 7 pm to 7 am schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Ajax, Ontario.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $19.50/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ajax,ON.
