About us
Stile Interiors is a growing finishing supply and installation company with over 15 years of industry experience. We are innovative, customer-centric, fast-paced, and our goal is to be the go-to home finishing solutions company for Alberta's builders and independent contractors in the residential sector.
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented full time Experienced Service Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate closely with the project team to complete a variety of on-site finishing tasks in both residential and commercial settings. A strong commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service is key, as you will be representing our brand directly with clients and partners on-site.
- Collaborating with project team to execute finishing tasks on site;
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions and specifications;
- Ensure proper functioning of installed products and make necessary adjustments or repairs;
- Install and service a variety of hardware, doors, and moulding products, including precise alignment of doors, hinges, locks, handles, and other components in residential and commercial buildings;
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine the appropriate installation methods and requirements;
- Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors to provide updates on project progress;
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the finishing process;
- Attend site meetings and inspections weekly;
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally;
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls;
- Maintain a clean and organized site to uphold safety standards;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on carpentry experience, with a focus on home finishing work;
- Proficiency in woodworking tools, techniques, and materials used in finishing;
- Strong experience in residential interiors, including materials, designs, and installation techniques;
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics to deliver exceptional results;
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times;
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively;
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and ensure project success;
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and dedication to meeting deadlines;
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record are required;
- First aid, CSTS, and WHMIS are required.
