Senior Manager, Global Budget and Business Planning

The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Managing Director, Global Budget and Business Planning in the successful development, planning and execution of the Annual Global Budget and Business Planning Processes and the Quarterly Business Planning Reporting Process. This position is responsible for overseeing routine tasks and ad-hoc projects related to budget and business planning processes, ensuring process efficiency, and collaborating across global teams and member firms.
What you will do- Develop budget and business planning guidance, methodologies and templates for use across Global Functions and other Global business areas, and Member firms and Regions
- Develop draft budget proposal based on key inputs working with teams across the organization
- Maintain up-to-date records of budget changes and available funding amounts
- Draft budget and business planning communications to senior level stakeholders in the organization. Prepare budget and business planning materials, key information and insights for review by various KPMGI governance bodies (i.e., the Board, AFC, GMT and Global COOs)
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in Member firms, Global functions and other Global business areas to ensure complete and timely budget, business planning, quarterly reporting and other submissions and to resolve queries and questions
- Consolidate and summarize budget, business planning, quarterly reporting and other submissions and prepare reports for global stakeholders
- Supervise and develop Global Budget and Business Planning manager
- Identify and execute on opportunities for innovation and process improvements and other ad-hoc projects as required
- Undergraduate degree in business or finance or accounting; Accounting designation is an asset
- 6+ years of relevant experience in a large multinational environment (ideally in Big4)
- Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying levels of complexity and autonomy and work efficiently and accurately under the pressure of deadlines
- High level of self-motivation and initiative, thriving in dynamic environments and adapting quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in preparing communication, reports and presentations for Senior leadership audiences
- Proven experience in overseeing team deliverables, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness, and driving continuous improvement in processes and results
- Strong data management and analytical skills coupled with advanced technical skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
