Job Summary:
A seasoned
Senior Project Manager
is needed to lead major business transformation initiatives within a
financial services organization
. This role will drive enterprise-wide change, aligning project delivery with strategic business goals, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration among executive, business, and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver complex transformation initiatives with budgets over C$10MM
  • Oversee program governance including steering committee meetings and executive reporting
  • Align project execution with business outcomes and strategic goals
  • Navigate stakeholder dynamics across technology and business units
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Ensure progress transparency, issue escalation, and stakeholder buy-in
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed, hybrid environment

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of end-to-end project delivery in complex, matrixed settings
  • Deep expertise in
    Canadian Financial Institutions
    or FinTech sectors
  • Proven success managing high-budget transformation programs
  • Experience presenting to and influencing C-level stakeholders
  • Strong ability to drive execution across business and technical teams

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Background in delivering enterprise-wide initiatives such as regulatory readiness or customer experience programs
  • Experience leading transformation in ambiguous, rapidly evolving settings
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and resistant stakeholders
