Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Experience with dental software, along with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly valued. Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
  • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when needed
  • Manage patient records efficiently using dental software
  • Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
  • Ensure sterilization and cleanliness of dental tools and work areas
  • Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries
  • Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation for patient charts
  • Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment plans

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
  • Proficiency with dental management software
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
  • Experience with CAD systems for imaging or modeling is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Certification or training in dental assisting preferred but not required; on-the-job training available for qualified candidates
  • Prior experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
