About Us

We are a small, locally owned IKEA kitchen design and installation business serving the Okanagan. Our focus is on helping clients create functional and beautiful spaces using IKEA products, from design through installation. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, closets, and more.

The Role

This position focuses solely on assembling IKEA cabinet boxes, including aligning panels, securing fasteners, and ensuring each cabinet is square and stable. You will also assemble drawer mechanisms and other accessories.

Cabinet installation will be handled by another team member; however, if you're interested, there are opportunities to learn installation and grow your skills in the future.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with IKEA cabinet assembly preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Own set of tools required
  • Reliable vehicle for travel to client sites
  • Professional and respectful client interactions
  • Ability to lift and carry cabinets and drawers (28–120 lbs)
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage work independently

Additional Information

  • Flexible schedule; work is assigned on a project-by-project basis
  • Not a full-time position; hours are not guaranteed
  • We value growth — as your skills and experience expand, so will your pay
