Administrative Assistant (Contract Role - Part-Time) - E-commerce Retail Business

The Administrative Assistant will support the Director in ensuring accurate financial documentation and managing day-to-day activities.

Administrative Duties Include:

  • Data Entry: Accurately enter invoices, data and transactions into QuickBooks
  • Document Management: Organize invoices, receipts and shipping documents
  • Process Documentation: Draft step-by-step procedures on recurring tasks
  • Email Management: Correspond with vendors on any discrepancies and shipment issues
  • Data Analysis: Analyze the profitability of products based on historical data
  • Product Prep: Package & label products in polybags
  • Shipping: Prepare packages to ship, including creating shipment plans
  • Inventory Management: Reconcile shipments, investigate inventory discrepancies and submit reimbursement claims
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries professionally and address concerns
  • Driving: Drive to local destinations for pick-ups, drop-offs, and returns
  • Physical Work: Life & carry boxes (up to 50 lbs/23kg)
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism
  • Provides administrative and operational support to the Director, as needed

Requirements:

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Class 5 license, car insurance and registration
  • Criminal records check including vulnerability sector check may be required
  • Able to carry and lift up to 50 pounds (23kg)
  • Relevant experience required

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
