Overview

We are seeking a passionate and driven Fundraising Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives and drive our mission forward. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fundraising strategies, digital marketing, and relationship management. This role is essential for building and maintaining relationships with donors, managing fundraising campaigns, and ensuring that our organization meets its financial goals.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing and potential donors through effective communication and engagement.
  • Utilize databases such as Salesforce and Raiser's Edge to track donor interactions, manage fundraising campaigns, and analyze data for decision-making.
  • Create compelling marketing materials using tools like Mailchimp for email marketing campaigns to promote fundraising events.
  • Conduct research to identify new funding opportunities and potential partnerships.
  • Manage budgets related to fundraising activities, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance digital presence through platforms like WordPress, promoting fundraising initiatives online.
  • Negotiate sponsorships and partnerships that align with the organization's mission.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful donor engagement.
  • Proficiency in databases such as Salesforce and Raiser's Edge for effective donor management.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial planning related to fundraising activities.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including email marketing through Mailchimp.
  • Excellent research skills to identify potential funding sources and opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating impactful marketing materials.
