Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
  • Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and manage payments through the POS system.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is beneficial.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
