Overview

The current position is for a live-in caregiver(4 Days a week).

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
  • Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Support clients with dementia care as needed, ensuring comfort and dignity.
  • Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to supervisors.

Skills

  • Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care setting ,live-in is preferred.
  • Strong background in patient care, including working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of caregiving practices, including meal preparation and medication administration.
  • Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining a respectful environment for clients.
  • Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to foster relationships with clients and families.

Requirements:

  • Must have knowledge of how to use a urinal.
  • Must know how to use a Hoyer lift(manual lift) Training is provided; experience is preferred
  • Must be a paitent person.
  • Must have VSC
  • Must have Personal support worker qualifications or equivalent.
  • A driver's license is preferred.
  • Must be able to preform transfer alone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180.00 per day
