Job

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated PSWs to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being through personalized support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the social well-being of clients.
  • Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in living spaces to promote a safe environment.
  • Document client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote physical and mental stimulation.

Experience

  • Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary needs for seniors is advantageous.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care is highly valued.
  • Strong caregiving skills combined with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring client safety and comfort.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
