Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in managing financial records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and ensuring efficient office operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy of financial data and delivering exceptional customer service within our organization.

Duties

  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Perform clerical tasks including filing, typing, and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide customer support by answering inquiries via multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Manage front desk responsibilities, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Support administrative functions by organizing files, scheduling appointments, and coordinating office activities.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools to create reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall office efficiency.
  • Assist in bookkeeping tasks such as tracking expenses, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts.
  • Leverage any medical or dental office experience to enhance service delivery in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred; familiarity with other accounting software is a plus.
  • Previous office experience with strong organizational skills is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
  • Excellent computer skills with a focus on data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong clerical experience including filing systems and administrative support functions.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of organization.
  • Typing proficiency along with strong proofreading skills to ensure document accuracy.
  • Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is advantageous but not required.
