We are looking for an experienced mechanic with strong electrical and emissions diagnostic skills to join our team.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Transport Mechanic with a strong focus on electrical diagnostics and emissions/computer-based troubleshooting. The ideal candidate excels in identifying complex electrical and aftertreatment issues and working with modern diagnostic tools on commercial transport equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on tractors and trailers
  • Diagnose and service emissions/aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR, sensors, ECU faults)
  • Use diagnostic software and scan tools for advanced troubleshooting
  • Inspect, repair, and replace components including:
  • Engines and cooling systems
  • Brakes, steering, suspension, drivetrain
  • Cab, chassis, and frames
  • Fuel and hydraulic systems
  • Test and verify repairs meet OEM specifications
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with highway tractors and trailers
  • Strong skills in:
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Emissions and aftertreatment systems
  • Computer-based diagnostics
  • Must have own tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Compensation

  • $30.00 – $50.00 per hour, based on experience
