Personal Support Worker/Unregulated Care Provider(UCP)

We are looking for a Permanent Part time PSW/UCP to join our growing team. Successful applicants must be available every other weekend as well as shifts during the week.
Description:
Royal Oaks Senior Living is a 103 suite Retirement Community located in the beautiful St. Thomas Ontario. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and comforting home for our residents where they can flourish and enjoy all that life has to offer.
Responsibilities:
Personal Support Workers perform a variety duty to ensure the residents needs are being met.
Job Duties:
- Assist our residents with activities of daily living to assist them in remaining as independent as possible
- Assistance with Medications
- Ensuring infection control processes are followed
- Following the resident Care Plan as outlined
- Support the RPN/RN with work as delegated
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of Personal Support Worker experience in a retirement or residential setting is preferred
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to quickly problem solve while multi tasking
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
