Primary Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide top quality products and services to our customers
  • Maintain good communication with supervisor and manager
  • Use safe work practices to ensure safety of all staff, vendors and customers
  • Complete required paperwork according to company policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Keep an up-to-date basic knowledge of inventory
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Move equipment/products safely and securely into customer locations and around the warehouse (heavy lifting)
  • Ensure all products delivered, loaded or unloaded accurately matches with the paperwork
  • Assemble fitness equipment
  • Assist with shipping and receiving of goods, including shipment of web orders
  • Unloading containers
  • Pulling orders for stores and customers
  • Obey all road rules and traffic legislation
  • Keep an accurate and up to date logbook
  • Inform your Supervisor and/or Manager of damages to equipment or property
  • Other duties may be required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognize the importance of establishing relationships with customers and providing a great customer experience
  • Team player with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Competent with computers
  • Good communication skills and willingness to help out other team members
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to safely push, pull or carry heavy products, occasionally over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely lift heavy products as a team - over 100 lbs
  • Forklift certificate (considered an asset)
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Weekend Availability
  • Prior warehouse experience is an asset but not required
  • Have a great work ethic and eager to learn new things
  • Valid Driver's License, Clean Drivers Abstract and Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
  • Have a sense of humor
