Who is a Data Analyst?
The Fit4Less Data Analyst will organize, analyze and visualize data in order to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of all elements of the business and work to improve the organization's ability to store, understand, and learn from its data. As an integral member of the IT team, this role is expected to turn raw data into information and insight, which can be used to make informed business decisions.

Job Summary:
Designs and maintains recurring reports using provided business requirements for internal stakeholders to extract maximum value from data.

  • Filters and "cleans" data by reviewing existing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
  • Develops reports, data dashboards, and visualizations based on the analysis and instructs end users on how to interpret the reports or dashboards generated.
  • Corrects coding and performance errors and other data-related problems.

Performs complex analysis and data modelling using statistical tools in order to provide information required for business leaders to make data-driven decisions.

  • Extracts patterns, trends, and key business drivers from large, disparate data sources.
  • Creates and maintains documentation regarding data models, measures, and infrastructure as they are developed in order to train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Provides analytical conclusions and their resulting strategy suggestions in writing, verbally, and visually via presentations.

Implements new data collection processes, systems, and enhancements based on industry trends in order to forecast and prepare for future data needs of the business.

  • Develops and implements databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

Provides technical expertise in data protection and data cleansing processes based on industry best practices in order to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Leads initiatives for data integrity and normalization processes.
  • Researches industry trends and identify new process improvement opportunities as it relates to data access rules and security.

Our Ideal Fit4Less Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in data science or data Analytics or related field
  • 3+ years of direct experience performing advanced data analytics
  • Intermediate knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Alteryx, Pyhon, Tableau)
  • Proven advanced experience in working with database tools and managing large-scale databases

Working Conditions:
Exposure to people who are impatient or upset

Compensation:
It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $65,000. This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $65,000 - $87,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
