Today is the day to boost your career  Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation team in either our Regina or Saskatoon office.

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Project Technologist will be involved in transactional due diligence conducting site visits and inspections along with reviewing records, data and preparing technical reports. 

A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin: 

• Conduct Site Assessments: Including Phase I & II ESA's, groundwater monitoring and sampling programs and surveying. Monitor underground storage tank removal programs and remedial excavations.
• Prepare Technical Reports: Conduct historical and regulatory research, develop site plans and assist with determining appropriate recommendations.
• Adhere to Standards: You'll ensure that all work is completed in accordance with Pinchin's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable industry standards.
• Team Engagement: Contribute to a dynamic and professional work environment by actively engaging with your team and office.

What you bring to the Pinchin team:

• Educational Background: A Diploma in Environmental Engineering Technology or a bachelor's degree in environmental science (or related discipline), with practical exposure to site assessments, remediation, or monitoring through coursework, internships, or fieldwork.
• Growth Mindset: A strong desire to develop hands-on experience in environmental due diligence and remediation—this entry-level role welcomes candidates with relevant coursework or field exposure and a demonstrated passion for assessing and improving site conditions.
• Experience: Phase I and II environmental experience will be considered an asset
• Technical Writing: Proven experience preparing technical reports in an efficient manner with high attention to detail and properly structured writing.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Hands-On Capability: Ability to safely conduct fieldwork—including soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and equipment handling—with appropriate use of PPE and hand tools in alignment with environmental due diligence and remediation practices
• Travel Readiness: A valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle are required (work-related travel expenses will be compensated).
• Availability: Willingness to work outside our core business hours and travel throughout the province of Saskatchewan.
